Description
This project wants to delineate some questions about the female experience of migration and, through this, outline the empty space that shapes the configuration of the migratory phenomenon. My research intends to look behind names and ages. I wanted to tell of the experiences behind the numbers and statistics. To do so I crossed Sicily in order to meet personally those women, to spend time with them and to dedicate time forging relationships. I asked them just to be themselves, because mine won’t be a “surfer” interview, but instead a “diving” dialogue.
